What is Waffle Embossing?
Waffle Embossing is an enhanced embossing technique. In addition to the fine base pattern of conventional embossed inner liners, with Waffle Embossing a pattern of distinctive shapes is superimposed. This allows you to further ennoble the surface of the inner liner. As a result your product makes a more exciting impression, boosting its premium quality and reinforcing your brand message.

Waffle Embossing is intermateable with all the latest Boegli technology – including Shadow Embossing – and can be applied to all existing inner liners.
Thanks to multiple optical effects, Waffle Embossing helps to hide the potentially inhomogeneous surface of the inner liner. Hence Waffle Embossing enhances the appearance of the inner liner.
The single-roller philosophy can be combined with the «Waffle principle», which greatly increases the design options available to marketing departments to enhance the premium character of their brands.

Technical product description
Description: The basic Waffle Embossing roller has an additional engraving on the fine base pattern and is part of the counter-roller-system. Changing the waffle design of a brand requires only the exchange of the counter-roller system.
Technical notes: This technology is ideally used in combination with the Boegli Multi-Roller System (three-roller system).
